Scamming a scammer?

Is it okay to scam someone that is a known scammer (banned on sythe for scamming), provided that the money taken is used to repay victims?

 

If the amount you are counter-scamming for is less than or equal to what was originally scammed, I think it's allowed. But I would confirm with an admin in each individual case before doing anything.

 

You need to check in with the staff first before going ahead with any of this.

Well, if your scamming a scammer who scammed someone, and your mission is to give the scammed their money back, I would say it's fine.

 

If the staff have authorised it then it's fine.

 

You're still stealing money off somebody, if someone is to kill your family member you don't go and kill their family member.

Idk just isn't morally correct for me.

 

I don't think it's fair to compare it to murder, which is permanent.

It's more like I lend my bike to Mike who just takes it and runs away. Mike then lends his bike (my bike) to one of my friends, who then just takes it and gives it back to me

Btw, @OP: Roary confirmed it's allowed to me on Skype as long as its an amount less or equal to the amount taht was scammed

 

p sure u can do it without contacting staff and if the person makes a scam report just post the proof..donno what these people are talking about lol

 

It's less hassle if the staff know beforehand.
