Questions regarding improvement on bans by jagex

On the recent news & update by jagex, he mentioned something on the sentence that I highlighted about general cheating and negative behaviours in game.

So what does this mean? Anyone have any idea about general cheating is? Is it real world trading? So now there is a high chance you will get ban if you buy/sell gold?

Overall its botting, rwting, scamming etc.

Its possible that we will experience another bot nuke in 07, because bots are getting out of hand in 07.

This morining i got hit by RWT ban, lost 200m, so i guess they started to do something.

Probably bring in more anonymous anti-cheating devs and hire more people to the anti cheating team.

 

Wow, normally RWT bans are quite rare, for it to hit you today, what did you do? Did you transfer to a mule then to your main?

I think a lot people would be affected by RWT bans if jagex decide to start creating a team to focus on anti-cheating including RWT. This is bad news guys!

 

I reckon it means everything, including scamming, RWT, botting, etc. It would be something if they had a RWT team who tracked down RWT'ers. That would suck for us.

 

Just be aware and take more precautions.

Scamming is less common now because it involves interacting with the game kappa

I used it to collect items and sell gold.Moved ~3b out of it.I made a few mistakes though.One is not changing it, i used the same mule for 6 months.And the second, not leveling it, was running straight from tutorial island

i would suggest possibly buying old account that are basic levels for muling. As for that sentence, just be on your game. Be smart try to overthink a little more than you would. They are hiring another person, and Mod weath is very good at what he does.

 

Yea I guess it's better to be safe than sorry by thinking a little more! Kinda scary that they are hiring another person to monitor real world trading when mod wealth is already quite good. Hopefully by being extra careful can lead to safer trades, we won't want our cash stack and accounts to get ban too easily.

 

Well I have 1 account that holds all my GP from services. Hand trained it 54 fishing and gave it a 3 letter name. Nothing has ever happened to it touch wood

They have been doing it for years now. Nothing devs can't overcome.
As long as you can't download RS (like for example: LoL), you will be able to cheat.

If they make it download based, only injection stays, which RS has pretty damn good protection against, unlike LoL.
