What's with all the DC's? I'm guessing Jagex is being attacked but its been a over a month and i don't think any group has claimed responsibility, anyone know anything?

Also they said the reason for the ddoss is cuz they banned some of those accounts that ddossed or something

 

Yeah they banned a load of the DDoS'ers and now it's got worse lol.

Gotta deal with it for now, not like they're gettin anything out of it which is the strange thing lol.

 

They banned some ddos group and now they're getting revenge.

 

They get ddosed a lot but also seems like jagex has never really cared about the servers they updated them and ever sense servers have been bad.

 

Does anyone have proof of the "Banned ddos group" claim? I've searched and haven't found anything.

 

Several cases of Jagex discussing it, not sure if you want hard proof or just to read them confirming it? lol

 

I'd also like to know about it, not that I don't believe the story, just find it interesting.

Yeah idk what they're doing. A company like this should be able to deal with script kiddies but oh well.

They should really get somebody on board who knows what they're doing, Same way they do with bug abuse.

 

There isn't just one group DDoSing OSRS. Sovereign, Italians, Harrassers and Team OB are the main groups doing it.

As far as I know a bunch of people from Harrassers and Italians were banned and the other groups were left alone. A major retard/reject by the name of Tryhards got banned on all of his accounts and started saying how he was involved in DDoSing worlds and to "expect laggy worlds" (he was affiliated with both Italians and Harrassers) and I believe that among a few blogs being released with evidence are what caused Jagex to start banning the accounts.

From what i've seen/heard, it seems they've also banned accounts just for being friends/in the same team as certain DDoSers, such as the midlvl account of Wiggled (if anyone knows who that is).

In the past couple days there's been a decent amount of people DDoSing worlds still unfortunately, as well as attacks from the people who were removed from the game.

There was 2-3 videos of a couple of guys world DDoSing yesterday that afaik are still running around, one of them was named V0o0o0odo0o0o or some shit like that.

Unfortunately that video is the shittiest example as he logged out before the world got hit off but ya, there was another video I recall of the same accounts killing people as the world got hit offline.

 

Tell me about it. Died doing fightcaves twice cuz of it, both were wave 60+, so annoying

 

Yeah lost my self a ranger set when it started happening before the 30 min timers which sucked ass haha.

 

Honestly like, with previous attacks it seems like whoever is doing it is relentless and is doing everything they can to ddos the servers.

Hopefully (as said on the stream the other day) they are working on fixing and upgrading the servers as fast as possible so they can stop these attacks and we can resume playing like normal again.

So far I seem to be having a much better experience in German worlds.

This might be pure luck but none the less, doin alright lol

 

I have the same experience actually.

 

Servers is being fucked up, people die millions on pvp & bh cause of this...

 

I choose german worlds and they are generally better, for an unknown reason. Strange thing is that only certain accounts of mine DC, even if they are on the same world.
