Transferring Gold Methods

Anyone suggest best/least obvious way to transfer gold without making RWT obvious between accounts?

 

I want to mention two things before answering. First, I've never been banned for RWT nor do I know of any gold seller that has. Many traders do "obvious" gp trades and don't get banned, so taking extra steps will do plenty good for you. Second, no matter what you do, Jagex may ban your account, so do not hold more RSGP than you can afford to lose.

Anyhow, here are some assorted tips that may or may not help:

Never mention buying/selling gold in game

Clear cookies or use private mode before accessing runescape.com

Delete jagex files before accessing runescape.com

Duel for the gold instead of trading

Never trade gp for 'absolutely nothing' - trade for junk items

Do some acting, make the transaction look like....well, not a transaction.

Dont use a level three 30 seconds out of tutorial island. "Warm up" new accounts by playing on them for a few days, hours at least.

Even after warming your account up, keep it warmed up by playing on it occassionally.

Don't bot on the gold selling character or on the same IP used to log into your gold selling character

If you're super paranoid, don't mention exact amount of gold sold in vouches. Instead of saying "I sold 243M to XXX" say "I sold ~200m" or similar

1 - if they're both your accounts, you won't get banned
2 - as a buyer, you almost certainly won't get banned
3 - as a seller, LT's comments are applicable but overkill imo. use high leveled accounts, use old accounts, don't stake it over unless you both have very comparable accounts, and if you do, have the seller put up a stake as well (which is generally hard to agree to i would imagine), don't trade in lumby (maybe this is ME being paranoid? ), and obviously be prepared to lose whatever account you're rwting on

 

Overkill indeed Better safe than sorry. In fact, I'll be avoiding Lumbridge now that you mention it.

I wouldn't stake anything as a buyer, unless the seller is ridiculously trusted.

 

Got banned for transferring gold from main to another (new) account.
Probably because i used a free VPN on the new account( logged in once or twice while connected to it).
Took me 6 months to get it unbanned lol.

 

A lot of tips I didn't think about here. Everyone does trade in lumby I've never bought anywhere else. Kinda obvious now that I think about it now.
