[Q] Buying a main from another country

I've heard after buying an account from a player in another country, you should wait a period of time before logging in, in order to prevent flagging it for account trading.

Any element of truth in this, if so what's the best practice?

 

frankly I don't think time matters as such; but you'll need to accept the fact that you're 99.9% going to lose a recovery battle if the original owner is a ban evader\scammer; as their isp and mac address will match that of the account.

Yes I know that Mr Buzzkill. But can I get banned for account sharing/trading if I log in too quick?

I've sold accounts to people from other countries far away from mine and never had any issues if they login instantly.

Sold few accounts and only 1 account got locked once (which i unlocked within an hour).
