Biggest fear?

This weekend, I just went to one of the tallest buildings in the world as part of my touristy adventure and have now realized I don't do very well with heights.

Anyone else randomly discover their biggest fear?

 

Bugs. Any kind of bug really. Butterflies too. I was living in a bad place years ago. Waking up with a cockroach next to your face scars you.

 

I don't like heights. Also there is a bug I discovered while visiting Iowa, USA. It was like a centipede/spider. Was awful and always escaped before I could smash it. I have a fear of the ocean too, like in the middle of it where nothing is, I wouldn't want to swim around. Too dark and empty.

 

My future is my biggest fear.

As for phobias, I don't really have any.

Heights for some reason...

 

Jail/Prison

 

Sharks... Like I am scared shitless of going swimming in the middle of the ocean or a sea and just being attacked by a shark. I was with some cousins in the Red Sea this summer on a yacht and they were all jumping in cannonballing and I wouldn't go in, so one of them pushed me off in the middle of the sea. As soon as I was under water and opened my eyes and saw the darkness of the sea, I was scared shitless that a shark would just pop up out of nowhere. Probably pretty irrational, not even sure that sea had sharks but god damn they're scary. I'm not scared of them in aquariums and stuff, but swimming in the ocean with them is a huge fear.

 

Ending up a failure.

 

I honestly have a fear of some day drowning. It terrifies me sometimes just knowing that I might actually drown to death one day. It doesn't help that I'm studying nautical science for threes years to work aboard ships after I have finished my degree...

I don't like spiders, heights & strangely hate jelly fish, so have a bit of a fear of going in to the sea in case of Jelly fish

 

my family hurting is my worst fear out of all fears.

 

Physical: Falling, darkness
Emotional: Rejection

On a more serious note.. The biggest fear I have would be any of my family members dying, especially my parents. Other than that I am pretty fearless. I don't fear my own death, in fact sometimes I look forward to it.
