Question about RWT

If I were to transfer my gold from Account A to Account B and sell the gold from Account B, if they caught Account B for RWT, would they ban Account A?

 

Sometimes but usually not. From what I understand, it depends if both accounts A & B are clearly mules, etc.

 

Usually not, but if they have strong suspicion that you sell gp often, prepare for a chain ban.

 

Off topic but has this ever happened to you, or other large gold merchants and how did you guys deal with it?

 

Yes, we use different IPs for different accounts, typically via VPS's

Whatever you do don't use a FREE vpn, got banned for just transferring the money over to another account , wasn't even trying to sell it.

Don't use free vpn because all ip's are most likely flagged.

 

Think of a creative way to transfer the gold, and perhaps even log into two different IP addresses for each individual account so you can't be linked. Perhaps even stake the gp on one account to another and purposely lose. It's always good to be safe then sorry

 

If this was the case, wouldn't EVERY sythe member's runescape account get banned that purchased from a GP seller?

 

You never get banned for buying, you can get your gold wiped and that has happened but jagex doesn't ban for buying.

I've had account A banned, with account B being spared in your example.

 

Depends on how much was transfered, but usually it isn't,
