Okay, yes it was too much.

Wendy, you've done me wrong in the past, but I decided to come back to you after all these years. Redheads are freaky.

+The fries stayed crisp for the time I had them (I didn't have them for long).
+The sauce was delicious, though barely spicy.
+The cheese was magnificent.
+Fries are the bomb.
+REALLY filling. Turns out I didn't need to order the chicken wrap (horrible sauce on the chicken wrap, btw... then again, it might be ranch and I hate ranch 2/5). I bloated myself. What a way to start a day.
-It tastes basically like cheese fries, which isn't what the product was going for.
-The jalapenos add no spice, though they do add crunch and jalapeno flavor. It was too much jalapeno, but YMMV.
-NOT SPICY AHHH!!!!

Even though this product didn't live up to my spicy expectations, they were darn good cheesy / saucy fries. Wendy, I want you to be spicy. It doesn't cut it if all you do is tease me. I want the full package, baby.

Low 5/5 because the taste was great, but you're marketing this as "ghost pepper fries" and people want to feel the burn. These fries would probably be more true to a name like "Zesty Cheesy Fries".

Ughhhh I hate when fast food chains market something as spicy, then you eat it and it's like "Where's the fucking spice?"

Same here, at least they are trying to tap into the spicy market. Oddly enough, the ghost pepper items have been less spicy than the habanero products. The next spicy item that I'll do in 10 days will be another disappointment.

Yeah I personally didn't like the amount of jalapeno taste, but if they make yours properly, then you should be golden.

I hear the "ghost pepper" spicy chicken sandwich is spicier, if you're into spending $6 for that.

Popeye's ghost pepper chicken was something I was going to post but then literally everyone said it was nothing, so I kept my money. It was going to be my first time going to Popeyes ever. I'm so sorry you had to try that out. What sucks is they were those tiny wings, too.

If I eat fried chicken, which is maybe once every 16 months, I like to eat it with pickled jalapenos to make it somewhat spicy.

I had the burger (chicken burger? I dont even recall) ghost pepper and jalepeno from Wendy's the other day. Same thing as you: tasted decent, however was loaded with jalapeños and really not that spicy

I had them about a week ago and get one of their salads as well. As you say decent fries and cheese sauce. But the same as taco johns, they claim to burn your face off with ghost pepper goodness then leave you wet and hoping for more knowing that it is all over before it had time to begin. Fuck you Wendys.

 

Have u tried the fresco melt too? They make a good combination

Only thing worth ordering from Wendy's is there spicy chicken burger. Fries and gravy are decent too.

I have no plans to try it out. I know it'll taste good, but I wanted to see what the sauce was about.

Okay, now you're making me want to get the spicy chicken / fresco. I wouldn't know what their gravy / poutine game is about, since I'm not in Canada.
