Change the logo for NextgenLite themes.

 

i vote on bringing back the logo of my youth, when I was first cutting my teeth at Sythe. None of this shitty overdone stuff.

 

I know people dont like changes and thats why they say no. I was also like you guys at the start and didnt want a new logo since its been almost 3 years I see the same one. However, I think that if we give it time, we'll get used to it.

I, personally , am already getting used to it. Yes, its a big change but I realize now that this logo is nicer than the other one and I like it.


Give it some time before voting. Obviously you will say no if you see it for the first time. However, if you vote in a few days, you'll be able to say really if you like it or not and if you want the old one back.

 

I think the image itself is really well done, but I feel like it isn't a logo. It comes off as a username image to me. Seems way too complicated and detailed for a logo.

That's why I voted no. Again, it looks great and I appreciate all of the effort you put into it - I'm impressed.

 

I've had the logo ad-blocked for a long time now... Now I have to do it again.

 

As long as we can keep the old one I don't care. If it's going to be updated for the entire forum then fuck no.

 

I would suggest tweaking the colour of the text below the new logo.

It's good that it keeps changing. People will always hate it when it happens but it keeps things fresh.

 

I like the one MoonGlare made (previous one) and the one before that one. I don't like the current one, its overdone for a logo.

 

You're dead to me. Don't change old the old theme.

The logo is nice but I don't feel its a good fit for sythe. As stated above it feels more like a signature or UI.

 

Sorry but after looking at it some more I appreciate the artistic quality but don't feel that it really fits as a logo. I like how you tried to inject some meaning into it but the fact that each letter has a different significance really makes the whole thing feel disconnected. Besides, the meaning is so vague that it might as well not be there at all (e.g. what does "earth, growth, tree" have anything to do with Sythe?) - maybe if you had just picked one of those attributes and designed the whole thing around it it might have looked better (maybe the S? I really like how that was designed)
