Did you check in your spam folder for the email from Jagex? It looks like the email was changed over to you.

Also, can you get a picture of his Skype profile? Just so we can match it to his sythe account.

 

Yes i checked i didnt find anything , he didnt click the link to finalize the transfer , i asked him for proof or email that he accepted he couldnt provide it , and i even told him to help me recover the account he said he couldnt , seriously who couldnt recover his own account even if the email is changed .... everyone knows runescape accounts are easy to recover with the right info but he gave me wrong information thats why my recoverys failed

 

And can you get a picture of his Skype profile please?

Click on that little image with the picture in it and open up his profile. I don't care about the picture, I care about his actually skype username, which you can find in his profile.

Asked him for more information before settling this.

 

I've also asked him for proof that he did in fact transfer the email over to you. We'll see what he comes up with.

Don't you admit here that he did transfer the email to you? Also, if you could post proof of the info he gave you not working, that would help your case. You can pm it to me because it's sensitive information, if you prefer.

You could have just deleted the email where you changed the password successfully. Also, original owners cannot always recover accounts.

@ opftw - Disastered showed that you did receive the email and clearly had email access when you tried to reset the password. How do you respond to that?

 

as i showed you in my screenshot that i sent in the private messages , he didnt change the email, and both my appeals denied

 

Super, ok ill tell you something , lets just say i do have the account , why am i doing this here on sythe ? i already did file a dispute on paypal so it has no effect on sythe, and my account on sythe is brand new ,

if i really had the account why would i report him that he is a scammer ? i would just take the account refund the money and not report all this and you would just ban me right ?

as you can see i did alot of effort just to show everyone what that guy is doing , if i scammed him how come he didnt report me here ?

 

To take his account, take back your money, and try to get him banned along the way. You already charged back your payment, which you should not have done until this report was settled.

The question now is "Who has control of the account?" If it's you, you get banned. If it's Disastered, probably neither of you gets banned. Disastered's pictures show that you had control of the account's email address, which is , as far as I know, the only way to have password change requests sent to an email address. So it's clear to me that you did have control of the account at one point, and unless you can prove otherwise, I would assume that you still have control of it now because, as you said, Disastered hasn't been able to recover the account. Correct me if I'm wrong...

 

Your Wrong, cause the picture that he showed you means he initiated the request but he didnt finalize it by clicking on the link that he had on his email, if he did he would of gotten a email that the account has been changed but he doesnt , if i had the account trust me i dont care if i get banned its a new account, but as i said its not with me and i wouldnt take all this effort to get him banned for no reason, i dont gain anything from banning him , yes i refunded the money and i have every right to do so,

tell me why did he tell me to wait 40 minutes after i transfered the full amount to him ?
if u read the screenshots he said that he would give me the account and password as soon as i transfer the money but when i did he told me the bullshit of having to wait 40 minutes , and im guessing the 40 minutes gave him time to actually spend the money .

mate i say this one more time if i had the account trust me i wouldnt even bother doing all this , having him banned wouldnt even gain me anything so tell me why would i do this ? i have the account and the money ? why bother and send all these screenshots and actually be the one to initiate this report request ?

if im the scammer how come im the one that took all the effort to make this report and not him ?

 

After testing the whole email thing it seems that opftw was wrong. He did click that link because it said on that page "we have sent an email to your account [email protected]" or whatever your email was opftw. Maybe it was a flaw in jagex' email servers which I suppose is possible.

Nevertheless there isn't a way to correctly handle this situation as there's not enough proof from either side. Honestly I just think you should make distastered refund the money and have these two stay away from eachother.

The only real sketchy thing I saw from this was the whole "40 minutes till I give you the account because it's easy to charge back in the first 40 minutes." Cause that's a load of crap
