Paypal money

I got a question. I've been thinking about selling runescape gold but I've been thinking if i could ever spend the money i get from it.

I'm only going to turn 19 and i'm still a college student. Say i had 1b(2000-2500$) to sell could i actually transfer the money to my bank without looking suspicious about the crazy money influx?

I mean is this illegal outside the game? could i get charged with something or just risk getting banned in game?

As i still don't have a job i dont declare taxes so i cant declare this i'm not sure what the risks are could someone help me understand?

 

You don't have to declare it unless you're making upwards of 9/10k per year. And lots of people still don't. It's not gonna get you in trouble.

 

You might check about the limits for when paypal starts declaring information about you to the government, but I think you should be fine. I transferred much more than that (granted, I declared it), and all I got from paypal was a phone call asking if I knew the person sending me the money.

 

Your fine to transfer it to your bank. However, don't send 2k+ at once. If you do, your bank might poke around and ask you questions but your government likely won't.

I actually live in portugal and our government is pretty corrupt. Our taxes are no where near the IRS in terms of strictness so with your information i guess i should be pretty safe. Thanks guys. By the way is there a safe way ban proof to trade the gold to someone? Maybe proxies or "staking" the GP?

Definitly don't use proxies/VPS' they are more likely to get you banned than without using one.

Staking the gold however is safer than just trading it based on my experience.

 

No, it's completely fine. However as Bogla said, don't try and withdraw it all at once..

 

I think it has to be upwards of 10K~ for the banks to notify the gov't
