Its obvious what the rules state should happen, I dont know why after over 5 times that my personal information has been put in the spam forum that a user who continues to do so to harrass me just gets off with an infraction.

If the pictures were altered in any way I would have pursued a forum ban.

As the offence wasn't as severe as some other cases, I decided to give the user an infraction and have the thread deleted.

I'm posting to provide reasoning for pursuing an infraction over a forum ban.

I will leave this thread open so a Global can provide their opinion.

 

Here let me point this out for you, more than just pictures

Both of those. If this was a first occurrence (which with Lame123 it was) I would be fine with a infraction. But again THIS HAS HAPPENED 5 FUCKING TIMES ON THIS FORUM.

 

The rules dont state that the pictures have to be altered, this comment is fucking useless

Posting multiple personal pictures and linking my social media, isint "severe as other cases" lol what?

Against the rules, Taz was banned for just using my name in the spam forum, that was less severe

 

I know I'm not a global but I thought I'd weigh in for the sake of it anywho. On one hand it's taken from a publicly accessible stream. From a glance however I can't find anywhere where Bleuskittle has publically posted his stream on sythe.org. On the other hand this is a repeated theme with Bleu, I remember some of this happening at least once or twice before.

By the current interpretation of the rules & the repeated nature of this offense I'd be fine with seeing a 1 month ban enforced.

Guys this is getting stupid, I harrass people in the spam forum just as everyone else does, But this is my personal information.

And what happens if I report people for rule breaking?

 

Hence the next sentence: From a glance however I can't find anywhere where Bleuskittle has publically posted his stream on sythe.org. If it were publicly posted by you then the stream would be allowed to be re-posted by others. This would mean they would be able to provide the means for others to obtain any images of you... would it mean they are able to circumvent that and simply provide the pictures? A debate we need not get into.

Regardless it's a moot point. Guess we'll wait for a global to weigh in on this.

I must have misread/missed the second point. As to my knowledge my stream has never been posted by myself on this forum. Regardless I have not been active in streaming for a year + now.

 

To avoid a double standard we must hold sythe users accountable for their actions. He broke the rule which in my opinion isn't really open for interpretation and thus must suffer the consequences. Bleuskittle has been a target for this in the past and unless we start enforcing the rules to protect our users the people won't really learn. I've banned him for a month.
