Enforce the rules, or remove them

This is getting redicilious and I seem to be the only person having this issue.


From sythe.org rules (same as spam forum)

Users will be banned for 1 month for the following:

Disclosure of Others' Personal Information: posting information such as private emails / MSNs, private Skype accounts, Facebook accounts, addresses, phone numbers, private photos, etc. of someone other than yourself without explicit consent of that person will result in up to a 1 month ban regardless of whether or not the information is publicly available.


People have leaked my PERSONAL information in the spam forum more than 5 times.

If this had been a moderators personal information it would have been without question a 6 month ban, But instead because its my personal information, pictures, social media. what happens is I get threatened to be banned from the spam forum, The posts of the users get deleted, or they get infracted on a offence that's supposed to be a one month ban. Users keep doing it because they know shit all is going to happen to them because moderators dont enforce the rules.

 

For what it's worth I have weighed in on that thread in favor of a 1 month ban.

I don't think personal information rules should be reduced in any way since users should have the privilege of not having their personal life brought onto a forum without their express permission.

I'm going to close this however as there's no point in doubling up on opinions both here and in that thread. If the end result is unsatisfactory then do feel free to recreate a thread or request this one to be opened again.
