why are event miniranks being given out in prizeboxes?

Prize boxes draw from the entire pool of miniranks at random.

 

Except for locked ones why I understand I'm just wondering why? People get these miniranks for being in a specific event at a specific time.


Just like after runescape came out with the scythe they stopped making rares tradeable because they shouldn't be. It's proof of your activity in the game ( or sythe forums in this context) at the time the miniranks are released.



I suggest we make the miniranks from events non tradeable and not able to open through prize boxes.

 

Basically just PM this to Matt, it's an obvious quickfix

Support for the prizebox thing, but I think they should be tradeable. Being able to sell for a few bucks probably encourages a lot more participation.

 

Agreed. Also, alot of them have already been traded and I doubt that there's a way to move them to the orig owner. Nor would that be fair to people who paid for them

 

Are you able to PM him on our behalf? He generally doesn't stoop to talk to the general population otherwise.
