New event idea - is there any interest?

This is a game somewhat similar to le kingdoms. It's called Ikariam, a real-time, browser-based game which is actually pretty fun. (youtube gameplay links: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ikariam+gameplay - wiki beginner's guide: http://ikariam.wikia.com/wiki/Beginner's_Guide).

My idea is essentially "let's have a bunch of Sythe users play on one world." As you progress in the game, there are options that let you move your cities to other parts of the world, so if we wanted to, we could create an outpost somewhere and go about playing the game as something of a team (this is the most efficient way to play).

Thoughts?

 

I'm abstaining from this for now.

Looks like just another age of empires multiplayer ripoff.

I'd probably participate if I had the time to read up on it, but most wouldn't. I'd try to look for games that most people already know the basics of gameplay (like pool). Like a tetris tourny or something like that

 

Game looks horrid, find an mmorpg and it might work.

I think its best if events were kept somewhat simple to maximize participants. You guys should make a riddle event. The riddles would be newly made and pertain solely to sythe.

A riddle event sounds good though, suggesting to CDT now...

 

I'm not a big fan of riddles and puzzles, (damn Easter event!)

But I like the idea of this community being able to do something else together.
