[Food] Taco Bell - Sriracha Quesarito + Original Quesarito

Review. This product is scheduled to be released today, so everyone should be able to get it now.

The original Quesarito was boring. It didn't have that much cheese flavor, and it didn't have that much beef. I'd hate to sound like an apple dick, but just stick to the ol' dollar menu. All I could taste was rice and a chipotle sauce. I'll pass.

2/5 on the original Quesarito.

Now that I've got that out of the way, I have more bad news for you. You can pretty much ignore this thread, because I hate sriracha sauce's taste, and I don't like Quesaritos.

Looks like a darker lava sauce. Does it taste like it, though?

This burrito had a lot of things that were similar to the original, except instead of chipotle sauce it had sriracha sauce and I believe it had some sauce in the cheese layer. Tasted just as bad as the quesarito I had a week or two prior, except worse because it had the taste of sriracha. It wasn't even spicy - fire sauce kicks this thing in the butt. You get more spice eating out a Mexican. I even made sure to get a side so I could try it on another item as well as add more. Nothing. Just bad taste, and the heat of a hot sauce packet. Lava sauce, I need you.

2/5 as well. Not spicy, not good. Edible. Sriracha sauce does taste better than chipotle, but I knocked it back down because it isn't spicy.

If you like quesaritos, I'd buy it.
If you like sriracha sauce, I'd buy it.
If you're like me and hate both, stay away. (I buy sriracha products in hopes that I find something that tastes good and has some spice. Really spicy things can be tricky to find.)

@@@@@@@@@@Edit: Secret edit, but I tried the chicken Quesarito because I know someone who loves them. 1/5 that was awful cheap-tasting chicken that does NOT pair well with their sauce.

It's decently okishly consistently decent. There are many more non-chain eataries that offer FAR better burritos IMO

 

Wasn't too shabby when I bought one before work the other day. Ordered one a couple days later and didn't even really get interested in it.

Yeah both times I had it, you could taste the rice WAY too much as well as the sauces, which weren't that great on the original or the sriracha one. I just had some sriracha popcorn and I don't think I want to get any more sriracha products lmao.

Well, I've been there in the past, but I haven't been there recently. You don't get that many options, as opposed to every other burrito place around (local chains, or even chains like Qdoba). It's a fine burrito, but if you have similar local places they may be better. It's probably a low 4/5. It's pricey, and not a lot of options (I love having spicy salsa and Chipotle has none). You can get a burrito there for cheap if you order 3 things only btw, if you wanna be cheap. It rings up as a kid's meal.

Partially true. I thought this until I compared a frito burrito and frito slider with my crunchwrap supreme. Crunchwrap wins in the flavor department, and I don't know why.
