CS:GO Discussion Section!

Almost everyone of my RL friends play CS:Go but I never tried it, might be fun though. It has a extremely high player base as of right now, so I guess that's a good decision.

Haha what a coincident! I bought cs go 2 days ago. Clocked over 2000 hours on cs go. The thing i notice the most on the game is the amount of kids who play and use mic...i've been playing 1.6 and cs:source for longer than they've been alive..(About 8 years)

 

Yeah, just a proof of how lot it has grown in css/csgo. Mostly because of all those extra stuff, skins and suchin csgo. CSS was mainly FFA servers with lots of fun perks for money. (I think)

 

As have many things and they have all failed. The staff is so new and inexperienced now that they have no memory of all the things that have been done and failed. Its ridiculous seeing how many times things are fucked up just because no one knows the history or refuses to hear history.

 

You seem like being a bit after Roary now... or just in a bad mood..

But they need to test things out even though it looks to fail due to history.

 

You really sound like a grumpy old man, SuF. CSGO is a hugely popular game, one of the most popular games in the world right now. Even if the section is inactive and fails, what is the harm of creating it and testing it out?

 

Looks good, makes sythe more diverse.The community for cs:go is really huge.

 

Sucks that the section is created so long after I requested it be done so, and the fact I am completely inactive for the time being ..

Nevertheless good update.

 

I believe since I started playing CSGO (around November) there were around 3M unique active players on the prior month. Today it's double that. We can assume 6 digits are due to smurfs but there is no doubt it is rapidly expanding.

Katowice is coming in 2 weeks, you can't be inactive during those days.

 

Awesome new addition, great to see sythe continuous expansion and cs go is definitely a great game that many enjoy

It's a shame this isn't the mentality staff normally have towards suggestions.

OT - I personally wouldn't be against a whole new CS:GO market rather than hiding it away in Steam Sales. From what I saw, there wasn't enough activity in Other Games Discussion to warrant it's own section. But if the market is growing as much as some people say, a front page market will be more attractive to new users than a discussion section where trading isn't permitted.

 

Well this is difficult without a minority of us with a really high ping..

edit: to clear that up, I mean if you're hosting a 5v5 comp which would potentially be hosted in the US, us Aussie players will have 400+ ping.
