Sythe 2FA

I tried setting it up via PC as I do not have access to a phone right now, but this guide isn't working for me: http://www.sythe.org/internet/1655576-sythe-two-factor-authentication-tutorial-pc.html

It seems outdated, as far as my PC(Windows 8 does not work for it).

Can anybody explain how I can do this on PC?

 

Which part are you having problems with?

 

I'm at the 6 digit part-but the GAuth is not giving me one. It just displays 0.

My computer told me the programs needed don't work on the computer I have, but downloaded it anyways. Maybe that's the problem.

Perhaps if someone knows any similar programs for Windows 8 then?

 

Compatibility issue. I couldn't find a substitute for you, but maybe someone else can.

This sounds obvious but have you guys attempted to run it in compatibility mode?

 

Not sure how to if there's such a thing.

 

Navigate to the folder, right click the file and hit properties. Then you'll see a tab called "compatibility" - its self apparent from there. Doesn't always work but worth a shot.
