Requesting a pardon

Back in 2010 I created an account on sythe called nobnobz, I was 12 - 13 years old back then. I started doing questing for free and then eventually for real life money. When I first started making a few bucks I was overwhelmed with happiness! Then one day I posted http://www.sythe.org/name-sales/920820-selling-account-username-love-tyra.html on the forums. Basically me and my friend logged in on this account just by guessing the password! We were freaking out even if the account was just fresh of tutorial ( note this was long before I joined sythe, I was just a kid ). Anyways I used to watch america's next top model with my mom back then ( don't judge me! ) and I thought the name was rare. Well I got banned for account hijacking or something and young me had no idea what happened and for what reason so I just created a new account and kept trying to make a word for myself ( I had no idea what ban evading was and actually thought this was perfectly fine ). Well I got banned again. Kept on creating accounts. Then finally realizing what i'd done.

I consider myself good person with sympathy for others and just happened to get caught in a dilemma that could have been solved earlier.


As for my TwC, i'd like to pardon that too.

A guy was looking to share an account so I took the offer and used it to kill frost dragons. Then later he didn't want me to use the account anymore. I kept using the account without his approval. That's all that happened. The account had bunch of chaotics and other untradeables if I remember right. Left everything alone and just kept killing frost dragons. Obviously I realize this was an idiotic thing to do and that's why i'd like to pardon it!

Thanks for looking into my pardon. Hope to be able to redeem myself and I can safely say i'm a much more mature person now.

 

First off I salute you for coming clean on your own, it's a rare thing on sythe.org.

I admit to having scammed offsite. It was when free trade came out and trusted profiles were scamming all around to get some quick gold. Sadly I was one of them and I still regret it to this day. I can safely say I've changed a lot since then. I understand if this can't be forgiven as it's a terrible thing to have on ones record. I want to ask for a chance to redeem myself though and I hope you can understand I was young and stupid.

As for the claiming my own email as an imposter. I honestly can't remember why. It's been too long. Maybe it was hijacked or maybe I wanted to be a part of the cool kids who had imposters.

sw1tt wasn't my account though. Someone let me use it to view sythe since I was banned. Which I realize isn't acceptable as well.

Having trouble locating the scam report. http://www.powerbot.org/community/topic/1230195-sw1tt-ban-appeal/ makes reference to it being by a user named DeDagur that sw1tt was linked too, I've PM'd a few powerbot staff members to try and get assistance in retrieving the report or proof. As far as I'm concerned unless there's something that exonerates you within the scam report you'll be held accountable for it.

 

The scam report no longer exists as it was filed in 2011 before they moved to IP Boards and has been lost in the transition apparently.

Snorvill, who did you scam and what was the amount? You need to make repayment/attempted repayment before we can proceed with the pardon process.

If I remember right it was about 40m. I don't remember the guys name it's been too long.

Best I can find on the old report. Also you had an even older account here named fee30 that was banned for self vouching in 2009 when that was a permanent ban offense but I don't think that would change things here

I'm willing to refund the guy but the scam report thread is gone and I have no idea how to find him.

I'd also like to let you guys know that fee30 and ploxor aren't my accounts. I even checked just to make sure and fee30 has a join date in 2008. I was a baby back then and most likely didn't deal in black market business.

Read the contents of that report, there is a LOT more that needs to be handled on your end. Once you've got a grasp on everything, post a new pardon.
