why fake AMD and not Intel?

 

I think someone tried to fake Intel a few years back didn't they?

Apparently newegg was selling fake Intels, it just never came to light because Newegg is not as big as Amazon...

The thing is just that these specific sellers were on Amazon. And so it's getting much more publicity than the other fakes.

 

You'd think you'd fake them to fit the right motherboard socket, something with the same amount of cores and such. Not sure the difference here between sending someone a box of rocks and this, why bother making it?

 

agree on this, you have to put effort/time/money into it while it has the same results as sending a rock...

 

Welp that would turn people off of wanting to make their own computer knowing cpu's could be faked like this
