Gambling General/discussion section.

A general discussion section about gambling would be nice, a place to talk about irc gambling/staking/poker etc.

 

Generally, that is the purpose of the http://www.sythe.org/sand-box/ - could easily be used for discussing gambling.

 

I see so many purposes for the sandbox but hardly any threads related to those purposes.

No support. Like Roary said, the sandbox is a fit place for any of the things you stated.

 

The only thing in sandbox are minirank buyers and sellers lmao

 

Just because the only posts in there are about miniranks, doesn't mean it isn't a fit place for the things OP stated. It is indeed a section for miniranks, but also for gambling.

This. Maybe if there was evidence of these threads existing in sections (like the sandbox), but there is really not enough for a section.

 

I agree the section would not be extremely active, but I do think that if it were to pass that the sandbox would not be a proper place for it, it would be confusing to have a section that includes trading, gambling discussion, actual gambling, and giveaways/competitions.

 

Perhaps the Sand Box description should be changed to "Forum games and gambling" or something?

I think the section would encourage more users to post about gambling... Whether its irl $ on pokerstars for example, or btc on primedice, or an rsgp site like bigboibets, etc

 

It doesn't strike me as the place to look for this sort of discussion. You say sand box and I immediately think trading miniranks and win X miniranks. I feel like one section, called Sand box, would be dealing with too much for a single section. Dice competitions, minirank trading, signature space buying/selling, gambling (do people even gamble there?), and gambling discussion.

How about its own sub section for discussion in the Sand box?

Wow how did I miss your follow up post. That works too. I'd prefer a subsection for discussion but anything is progress really.

This description for sand-box forum would obviously won't attract anyone looking to discuss gambling.
