I'm guessing because many highly trusted people have offered to take on the job of being a no-fee bond holder.

Lol sure. Because "no fee" is an easy term.
So if somebody contacts me and says "rsgp is valued at 2.6/m" I have to take rsgp at 2.6/m?

Regardless matthew has said we are allowed to charge a fee for our service if you have issues with that pm him.

If you wish to become a bond holder please contact matthew aswell. There is literally no use to this thread when Richard promotes a free market.

How is people offering to do for free what you do for a fee not part of free market behavior? Reduce oligopoly profits, etc

I actually don't care what happens with this, just pointing out...

At what point did I say it was not?
Either you are misreading something or are really stupid.

I have pointed out multiple times in this thread that I take 1:1 methods for rsgp and 1:1 for trusted paypal users

I also have no say in who becomes a bond holder or the fact that we're allowed to charge fees. The fact that sythe is free market only works In our Favour

Oh yeah, mb. Misread that. Thought you were saying Sythe = free market so bond holders can charge whatever and everyone else can suck it, not Sythe = free market so anyone can do whatever :p.

    My context for my post:

You make it appear as though becoming a bond holder is an easy thing to do, when in reality it's far from that. To become a non-free bond holder you'd first need to become a bond holder and I'm guessing at least 10 good applicants are denied for every new position. Being a bond holder is far from a free market when very few people have the opportunity.

Also it states that the system isn't there to make money. I understand you have to cover some costs and it's not directed at you Bleu as I'm aware you're not in it for profit and you keep your prices fair, but there's a big difference between covering costs and charging significantly more just because you can.

Bleu just helped me donate $100 0% fee.

Love him, and support to OP, it's pretty stupid you have to donate more than the rank you receive.

Support to this. The first person I contacted to donate my first 50$ to the site told me it would be about 35m or so 07. I was kinda surprised. I didn't know exactly how much gp goes for irl, so went and checked it out and found it was 2-2.5. For 35m 07, that's easily over 70$ when I was trying to donate 50$. I honestly thought this was a scam. I probably wouldn't have donated if I didn't find another person who offered to do it for significantly less.

I would love for somebody who is supporting this to provide some context as to how this no fee
    To be moderated.

Rsgp is a constantly changing currency and we as bond holders take the risk of the currency d evaluating in our possession or getting banned for rwt.

I also fail to see how some sort of standard is to be met so we charge "no fees" when the market is constantly changing.

Also one of the things not addressed by people that are supporting this is the risks involved.
I'm by far the cheapest bond holder on sythe. I've processed over $600 in donations and made $4.

If the gold reseller I use for my trades were to scam quit and charge me back for everything I donated so far I would be -$400 ish.
Do you think it's fair for somebody to take that risk?

You take that risk in any case, fees or not. Fees aren't going to really make a dent in your guys banks, if i'm assuming you all are rich on RS. If not you wouldn't care about being banned for rwt.

Why not do the way you made me donate? That way the market changing wasn't your problem rather it was mine.

Of course not, but even taking a fee you'd still be negative on a chargeback. It's your own risk, you shouldn't do it if you do not trust the guy. Plus there could be easy fixes to this, such as donating through a third party where chargebacks would be impossible. Or using skrill, other methods.

    Hi there-

Bond holders provide a service and allow users to donate using methods we don't otherwise accept. As such, they are permitted to charge a fee. If you don't want to pay a fee you'll have to either find a bond holder who doesn't charge one or not donate.
