Report a scammer thread change 2.

So N4N0, I understand your point but let me ask you this. Why would someone be posting a ''lied in pardon/vading'' report in the ''report a scammer'' section. How in the heck does that fall under the category of ''scamming''.

Heres a new suggestion based off the feedback from the last.

Create a new sub forum in the ''report a scammer'' section exactly how the ''report a ban evader'' section is, but make the new area for ''other'' reports.
This would mean reports that aren't for scamming, or ban evading would be posted there. This way people won't look at a scamming thread when the report doesn't pertain to scamming and get the wrong idea. It ruined my rep, I was asked to MM via skype and had the other party refuse because of an ''open scam'' report which wasn't even a scam report. YousuckV2 should've posted it in the ban evading section as the closest thing to his report was me supposedly vading and not admitting to it, except the account isn't even banned nor is it even mine. Nothing in his report had to do with scamming and yet everyone sees a report, reads it says tl'dr and thinks badly of me or anyone it could happen to just because it's in the ''scammer'' section.

 

And you honestly think users would choose this "other" area over report a scammer? That's just wishful thinking. No need to complicate an easy process. If the report is invalid, you have nothing to worry about. Customers will choose to avoid you regardless of where the report resides. That's just something you have to deal with unfortunately.

Exactly this. The other section would never even be used. People would still post in the Report a Scammer Section, and you can't force them to use the other section.

 

Look at the current ban evader section. While it is used a bit, people still post a lot of vading topics just in the Scammer Section.

 

Actually, I think your reputation was ruined by you admitting to ban evading like five times... not to mention your general demeanor. I doubt one RaSc thread that came to nothing is your main problem. If you want a thread removed/retitled because it's negatively affecting business, take it up with a mod/admin. Adding another subsection won't really do much good; if anything, I think RaSc should be renamed more generally, like "report bad behavior," and the "report a ban evader" sub should be removed altogether.
