Donation perks for $25 update

I purpose updating the $25 donor perk on the User center. I just donated and became SVU but I did not see under the perks area the option to become an SVU when donating for $25 doner. This really should be added, just so people know they have the option to verify themselves. Also maybe add text that explains theres a $5 fee for SVU so people know. I thought all I had to do was donate an additional $20 since I was $5 doner already and then I could just verify and become SVU.

 

No support the majority of users already know this information or its posted in sythe support forum

 

What about new users who don't know everything.

Alright well let me explain it from this angle.
A new user or a member who's unfamiliar with donating wants to donate. He finds the thread and checks out the perks. He sees $5 has tonnes of features and the only thing $25 has to offer is a sarasword icon so he won't bother.

Now what if they added info about SVU for $25, then people would have a reason to donate for it because they can see the perk for it. This should benefit bond holders and Sythe.org from extra cash flow.
Thoughts?

 

It's not really a $25 perk since you aren't granted the rank after donating that specific amount. It just makes the option available.

That's what it says after going to the FAQ page in the user center for SVU.

It doesn't say the option is available after having $25 in donation credit, so I support it being added.

 

By that logic you may as well remove the rules. Majority of users already knows the rule after all.

I'll support this suggestion. I for one have never taken the time to look into how to get an SVU rank because I'm not interested. If I was interested, I can say that I was not entirely sure how to obtain one apart from being $25 donor (from seeing people get it together). I would have had to do some looking around to find out and it shouldn't be like that. There are also people that would be afraid to ask questions because they think there's a simple answer to it and by asking it they would look silly.

 

Ill support it I had to contact Dave to find out how to become SVU plan on donating for it soon. I didnt know you had to pay extra for it though.

 

Support. I was in a similar situation when I first donated $25. It's a bit exasperating.

 

I support, this would be good for newer users who are interested in donating.

 

I'd support $25 + SVU being listed as $30, sure.

 

Support. Would really help out newcomers who are truly interested in helping out the site with donating, but know nothing about donating to the site.

 

Support I had a lot of trouble trying to donate. There was alot not explain in the donor management console.

 

I actually do think this would be a nice idea because even when in the User Center, if you go to SytheVerfied tab, all it says is that you have to be a $25 donator... It says absolutely nothing about having to pay an extra $5 fee for verification. It's a small update for a nice little bit of help.

 

It isn't a perk, per se, and it was only initially intended for 25$ donor's as an introductory stage and possibly will have further tiers and possibly even donor levels - nobody knows yet.

I think it's perfectly explained on the "Become Sythe Verified" panel, unless you think any information there is missing?

 

I think I'd support if under the 25$ donar perks it said something like "eligible to purchase SVU"

I'm planning on donating soon and was looking into it and admit that this was not very obvious to donors. It's a pretty easy fix

 

It's a benefit to Sythe, potentially to bond holders since the point of SVU is to show that you aren't here to scam, and it benefits the members like myself who want to smack the people in the face that dare question my loyalty and validity as a person.

Tl'Dr: I can't really see how this wouldn't be a good addition. I've heard great feedback from others about it and with 90% of the vote saying yes could we get this update?

 

People have donated $180 and had the $100 rank etc for years, nobodys sad enough to bitch about it. All donor ranks should be rounded down, like they currently are. Leave the $25 rank as it is, the next one for them is $50. No support.
