    Thoughts on this? For one, I'm surprised that bitcoin prices didn't fluctuate much today; I would have expected a bigger response to the media exposure.

    The fluctuation should be interesting to see. I'm not surprised it didn't fluctuate much yet as I don't think the media exposure is as high as you think it is -- not yet at least.

    More proof that the standard model of BTC exchange needs to be revised. Either have a third party holding equal to the amount if BTC they're holding, some kind of insurance policy, etc. I'll never put more than the amount I'm trading with into an exchange.
