    I think it would be nice to have a bump button or something of the sort to help cut down on the pointless "bump" posts that also lead to moderators having to take the time to make sure posts are being bumped properly. Have the button only accessible every 8 hours and it basically eliminates all the pointless spamming and will also save the mods time in the end...just an idea!

    What more of a convincing argument could be made than it would save the mods time. Time they could be spending where it belongs, not infracting people for bumps, deleting bump posts, etc...

    Sorry, it sounded like a good idea.

    In terms of site growth & stats, the more posts, the better. A bump button is counter-intuitive for this reason.
