Opinion about Dave

About a week ago Dave made a report and requested a payment for work he did before he stole my business. As you can read there was an agreement that he would not start his own business else I wouldn't have given him my contacts.

In my opinion the least he can do is refund the payments for work he did while he was working with me. He worked with me for about a month and wasn't online much, grabbed a few large trades ($50+ profit each) from my customers and then decided to take everything leaving me with nothing.

I would like to know your opinion about this case.

 

He isn't using any of your contacts to conduct business. That's why it was settled how it was; he was simply paying a fee (to not be banned on the server) to an individual - different thing entirely.

Because that's not true I have no idea why he said that. You're wrong Roary. Are you telling me that he didn't use any of my contacts to conduct business? You're right about the fact that I'm talking about an important individual who made my business possible and he kinda took advantage of an argument I had with that individual and made a deal with him so he could start a business himself.

Take your drama to Skype. If it was that big of a deal to everyone else, there would be a Spam Forum thread backing you up, but there doesn't seem to be one lol.

Not saying it's not important, but it's settled and dealt with. You're achieving nothing by this and just makes you look more like a little kid. Please drop it. If you have new evidence, present it. If not, get out. I put this as nicely as possible.

 

Not the ones you presented proof of him promising not to use, that screenshot was in reference to Jake. As a compromise on the report, Dave also has been told he cannot use David either.

 

Just drop it. There was no contract between you and Dave, stopping him from what he did. It's business, sorry. Take this somewhere else outside of sythe.

If he renege'd on his word that's between you and him. There was no legally binding contract that can be used against either of you in this scenario. If he decides to do something he promised not to do then it's 1 of 2 things.

1. A mans word is all he has, if he lied then that says something about him

2. But.. If he had a legitmate reason (which it sounds like he did) then he's not to be faulted. If you fuc*** up and ruined his business too by causing drama then it's your fault. You're to blame for his response to the situation nobody else. In the end no contract was signed, and you did screw him out of business he had, so in reality Moes it's on you. That's business.

Not signing a contract and putting in deal in place means there is no set deal, just because he is staff/trusted does not in any way make him obligated to follow through on the deal/partnership.

 

A man's word is a legally binding contract if all elements of a contract are reached. Your understanding of what defines comtractability is poor at best.

 

You know what the problem is Moe you're looking for someone to agree with you so that you're able to blow this up massively into something that it isn't. But no one is agreeing with you and no one is justifying the way that you're acting now after everything has been handled. You're more or less just making yourself look like an ass.

 

Not at all. Moes did something to ruin the business he had, and Dave was effected by it. This resulted in Dave continuing business on his own. Dave wasn't in the wrong. It's business and I understand it all too well. I run an off site business and worked for a year with my mom in one (who has an MBA). The only thing that matters in business are contracts and legal documents because that's the only thing that's going to work as proof if something goes south.

 

That's not how business works on Sythe. On Sythe it's all about trust. A moderator who can't be trusted shouldn't be a moderator.

 

Literally you haven't stated any facts that haven't been handled in the report the only thing you have done is sit and bitch waiting for someone to agree with you and yet no one has. What does that tell you? Maybe you're in the wrong for attempting to start drama.
