RS 2007 Player SWATed on Twitch

So some Twitch streamer seems to have been SWATed while playing RS 2007.

You can't actually see the police come in, but you can see him start to listen and then run off.

How is it people do this shit thinking they won't get caught? Yeah there's ways to do it without being traced but pretty much any phone call and stuff is traceable these days.

 

What's the story behind this?

I'm honestly not surprised. People are getting swatted on multiple games and not getting caught for it.

His little brother must be traumatized from this experience. It's pathetic, unwarranted, and not funny. You're only putting yourself at risk for stupid acts.

 

I read on Yahoo News that it was a prank call.. They said one of his viewers knew his address and he leaked it out and someone made the call to the police. It also said that the police were very understanding on what happened because the crank calls happen from time to time. Also there should be an investigation to figure out who the ass hole his that called the police.

 

Don't put your address on the internet..

 

That's actually such a horrible thing to happen to a person, they come and break down your door and shit and then rummage through your personal belongings. I would honestly hate to have to go through that.

Jesus that's horrible, if police pointed guns at my family like that I'd probably lose my shit entirely, that really sucks for the guy

This is such a sad story, especially how his younger brother was affected by this. You can only hope he will be alright. Its really pathetic how far some people will go.
