Hi everyone! As many of you know I coded and published a game called Draw Me That which has been ranked pretty high in 12 countries and been download a couple thousand times. Draw Me That is currently on version 1.2 which integrates a lot of your guys suggestions.



I am currently running for Facebook's app of the year award:



I need to expand my reach and gain more users. So today I want to announce my plan to make Draw Me That a multiplayer game in addition to being a single player game. The all new multiplayer mode will be released in version 2.0 in the spring and will include two game modes: Speed and Endurance.

Speed - Who can get through a set amount of levels the fastest
Endurance - Who can get to the farthest level in a set amount of time

Your 50 threads advertising your boring puzzle app get pretty old.

 

Do you seriously think you have a chance at winning app of the year when your best overall ranking is 61st in a country with 30k people?

 

Yes given that my ranking is climbing every day and that the application process doesn't end for over a month.

The competition is also not who has the most successful app. The potential to grow is one of the biggest parts.

From one game developer to another, if it doesn't become popular organically, you need to go back to the drawing board.

 

Yeah sure. I'm more talking about all the people who have downloaded it, signed up for the beta, and have told me that they really love it and can't wait for the new levels to come out!

 

That's just blatantly false. Tell that to Clash of Clans or Game of War. Games don't just become incredibly popular with no publicity. Even if you had the greatest app ever if no one knows about it then you will never get downloads.

And what games have you developed?

 

Yeah I agree with darkest this definitely is beaten out for "app of the year" by hundreds or thousands of other apps. Mobile games seems to be an area that requires tons of creativity and interesting content, and from just looking at this thread (as a consumer) this game just seems like a dud.

I think you should re-read the thread haha! The contest is specifically for Fb Start! You should take a look at the screenshot of the contest rules!

 

Have you made money off your app? If so how much and by what means

 

why would you care if he did anyways?

 

Probably to compare. He makes apps as well.

I think he has iAds implemented 70i

 

I've only made about $20 so far.
