Remember, these people ASKED for the job. They weren't forced in any ways.

This. Plus Mods work for free and get nothing in return.

Are you telling me that moderators can't get away with charging more because of their status? That they won't get to middleman trades and charge a fee because of their status? As a non moderator and non omm if I went to go charge fees I wouldn't get a single transaction.

They arnt paid directly for their work but obviously there are perks

My team and I would also be willing to help with a free donation service for non-disputable payment methods. We could also process PayPal payments for any user, unverified or not, at a fee. The same steps we require for PayPal purchases on our website would apply.

Personally I had second thoughts about making my first donation after being told it would be $120 in gp (bottom end rates) for a $100 title by a bond holder. It's nice to see that others are interested, and already doing it (Bleu).

Yes that's true, but don't act like bondholders are worthless if they aren't making money. You get free vouches everytime someone wants to donate +if you go to the user center everyone sees your name. And just like Mod goes hand in hand with trust, Bond Holder has the same effect, but of course not to the same level.

All donation methods of payment come with risks. I explained it in another thread. As long as there is a risk, emolument is justified. Let's not forget that probably 90% of newcomers donating end up scamming. I view it as them giving collateral for their subsequent scam attempt.

How much money do you think bond holders make overall?

I've done over 400 in donations so far and have made $4.

If darkest dream scam quit tomorow I would be officially -196 usd

Even if one of the users who I donated 5$ via pp for charge backed I would still be minus money.

The main problem for RSGP is the fact that they take RSGP in at x amount, and then have to sell it. They price it usually around a price that people are buying for. Quit bitching, just donate $5 via RSGP and do the rest direct to sythe via PP.

Your different then most of the other bond holders. Take bogdan for example, I wanted to donate for my friend to get him $5 donor status. Cost me $8 via paypal. Why the hell would it cost $3 more? I mean, I'm not the more trusted user but seriously I didn't think there was much risk of me chargebacking $5. Oh and when I wanted to donate via paypal ~8 months or so ago when I started to become active he wouldn't let me because I wasn't trusted... So honestly your the only one that can use the excuse that they charge fees because users aren't trusted.

Im trying not to make this a debate thread but you also have to take into considerations what we view as "trusted" I had a 2011 user who was a friend of mine scam quit me for over ~120 usd.

If people really have issues with bond holder rates donate $5 via rsgp 1:1 through me once then donate the rest yourself. It's not a hard concept

Yea that may be true about donating $5 then rest yourself, but that is very known, at the very least it needs to be made much more widely known that you can donate for yourself if your an existing donor + 2 week member + 100 posts.

I support this statement, Maybe we could put something in the FAQ of user center.

Also Chris thanks for actually using logic to debate this with me and not just being a brick wall when it comes to opinions. Makes for a much better conversation than when im talking to others on this site.

We don't need to clog the site with more pointless rules. Currency exchange fees are a thing everywhere. That's how real life works. If you don't want to pay an extra couple dollars worth of gold to donate that way there are 800 other ways to do it.

    But lol...
It's sad that you have to pay a 60% markup for wanting to donate to sythe.
    $5 -> $8, that's bs.

Jon im sure you know that dosent happen alot of the time and people are adamant with their opinions. ;)

There's more than one bond holder, I personally charge 7$ for 5 because im the new kid on the block and trying to undercut them.

You also have to take a look at the risk factor of these brand new 2015 users asking to donate with a unverified pp

I would be open to doing service such as this for Sythe. I like to help people and Sythe has been a huge contributor to my sales and profit throughout the years. This is also why I just donated and became SVU, to try and show others my dedication. I'm sure there may be others willing to do this as well.

    Edit: Support.

Suppose I should speak for myself instead of others. You're right. But it applies to the level of maturity that people like Chris and myself display. :p
