Report a scammer section

Not sure if this really is anything but in the market tools the report thread is blank hiding what report is happening. But down in the anti scam, the report thread there is not blank showing the current report. *from home page is where I'm seeing this*

Maybe both be blanked out or both be visible. Unless there's a reason for this

 

It's to promote the section. Since report a scammer is at the bottom of the site, it may be harder to find than most things. It's pretty simple to understand.

What he means is that the first Report a Scammer is merely a hyperlink - it links to the real Report a Scammer down at the bottom. They are both the same section; the link under market tools is there to increase visibility of the Report a Scammer section so that new users can find it easily.

 

I see what you're saying now but why 2 they goto the same place don't they? I would think something like that could be hidden in the front or backend. Anyway thinking now it would help new people find the section since people are sort of retarded when trying to find a report a scammer section.

 

It's there on purpose, I guarantee it. That's the reason it is there though, to help new people find the section. The target audience, new users, probably wouldn't even notice it's just a redirection link. I don't know the statistics on whether or not the link helps, but it doesn't really hurt anything.

 

I'd like to know what it's there for from an admi or mod. Just curious. If it were to link pages it wouldn't be shown since it would just be code since machines don't navigate by sight =p

 

I just noticed there is an empty redirect for the graphics market too. Like what's the point of them they are just hobestly sitting clutter making the forum look messy. It may have been a past attempt or no but I feel they should be removed or turned into useful threads

 

Same concept with the graphics market.

 

To make it easier to get to fornewcomers instead of members having to scroll all the way to the bottom to see it/find it.

Since RaS or Graphics market is way down the forum and newcomers/people visiting the forum arent really scrolling to the bottom of the forum... well to make sure they know its there, sythe has to put a link to the section.
