does omm make serious coin

Well im curious im a MM i just started out ive been a sythe member for 2 years i try my best to take part in community activities and events i like to help everyone out but im curious... Does an OMM make serious money

Just depends. They take a certain fee out. Go look at the middle man forum and see what they charge and that'll give you a good indication.

Take a look there, each Omm states what there fees are. The average fee for the average Omm is usually 5% on every trade. Say you get 100m 07 trade thats 5m 07 for you. Can be good money if you are an active omm.

No. It's really not that profitable when you think about the work/attention it takes on your end. The average trade takes upwards of 15 minutes (for account trades over 30 minutes is usual), and you definitely won't average $200 trades with 5% fees.

 

Nope not anymore. Most trades are really just for scam prevention. ie you're pulled in, people waste 20 minutes of your time, and you're not paid because one guy is a scammer and leaves. In 2009, with the release of free trade, there were a bunch of new users trying to unload gold so OMMs made a lot then, but less so now.

Used to be good as the others stated, but now it's all gone.

 

Has more to do with less demand and also the free big middlemen nowadays as well.

 

Like others said, it's probably not a good way of making money at this point, but having that rank leaves you a lot of options for making money from other services, since having OMM is a sign of trust.

 

This gets into the issues we discussed in the gen/market disc (I forget which) thread a few weeks/months ago. This (that OMMs = trust) is true, but it was more relevant in the past. Now it's more of a vestigial thing since there are many more trusted traders who lack OMM status, and as far as ranks leading to trust, it's easier to become mod than OMM, so you may as well strive for that...

 

Probably not "serious cash" but they do make some cash. There are quite a number of high donor free middlemen so thats where people go for smaller trades.

 

I wudnt mind mod but I think Omm is easier to achieve then MOD lmaoo plus mod theres more responsibility I mean well see right now my goal is OMM well see

 

Getting OMM isn't easy lol.
