The moderation team and double standards

I guarantee you if I were to make a thread in the runescape questing section for hiring it would get deleted/locked from a moderator because we currently use the stick in market discussion here: http://www.sythe.org/market-discussion/1692419-employment-listings-look-here.html


So why the obvious double standard for moderators?

Richard has told us before that he believes in a free market which isint happening when the regular members are limited to a specific set of rules and the moderation can do whatever they want when it comes to stuff like this.

Nothing against blade, I just think its stupid that they can delete my posts on their thread showing them where the correct section is.


Shoutout to Heeatz who is going to post on this thread with his obvious bias.

yup, which im sure was ignored.

 

I've reported that thread and no response to it yet. I'm sure there's a reason why no one has locked it and that might be due to most gaming mods being busy.

 

so theyd obviously have the time to delete our posts on the thread and not lock the thread?

I'll lock that thread then, this isn't the way obviously.
As for your questions, no moderators are not above the rules.
Pm any global moderator if you have these issues in the future, as this is the proper way to discuss problems with sectionals.

 

I'm with you on this one. I think we need to act on that new subforum (or whatever's getting created) so these hiring issues go away.
