TL;DR Next school year Ill be on college

Next school year I'll be on college and I'm taking Computer Science as a course, my brother keeps telling me to take IT instead but the university that I am going into doesn't have IT, but the other one has and they don't accept anyone anymore because they do have this entrance exam for everyone who wants to go in their university in September and after that they don't accept anyone anymore (that's for the college department while on the elementary and high schools can take the exam anytime until 2 weeks before the school starts) and I'm pretty nervous that I will fail horribly.

I'm taking Com Sci and computer subject is the lowest in my grades, it's because I barely listen to the teacher, I've only passed 2 out of 10 projects in a semester, I barely do the activity that the teacher gave us and it's almost graduation. March will be our graduation. I'm pretty depressed with this and it always gives me anxiety, what can you guys suggest me to do to improve this so that I could make it to our graduation. I don't want to fail as I have several classmate who have been my mate since nursery and I don't want to get left behind.

Study, do your projects, listen to the teacher, and just put 100% effort and you can pass just be dedicated since you really want to graduate with your friends.

Why don't you pay attention in class? :/ It seems like your problems start there...

How can we help you if you aren't willing to learn yourself? As stated above, fix your attitude towards school.

Maybe even ask if you can re-do some of the important projects that you failed/didn't complete.

Ask your friends things you don't quite understand, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to help you.

Make habits of getting the work done. Yes teachers can be boring, yes there might be more fun things to do, but just do what you had to do first: finish the homework, study, listen, and complete the projects. You'll thank yourself later.

It is a great career, but if you don't like it and know you will hate it, I wouldn't go in it. Decide what you would love to work as, become good at it, and focus. Part of being successful isn't knowing to do, its knowing what not to do (don't distract yourself from the eye on the prize).

Can't help somebody that does put the effort in themselves. Pay attention and if you still have trouble grasping the concepts I'm sure there's some sythers willing to extend their knowledge to you.

As others have said, start listening in class and do your work. We can't help you if you're not willing to help yourself.

Go ask your teacher for help and see what she can do. Show her you are willing to work extra hard to graduate and actually do just that. Good luck.

What do you mean? I'm going to take computer science but we have a computer subject in high school and I am senior so we are more focused in C language.

Why would you major in something that you don't do well in? Majoring in CS will include substantially harder math and programming classes than you're used to. You'll fail out definitely if you do 2/10ths of the coursework and don't listen to the lectures.

Keep your mind open while you're taking general education courses and consider various degree options. What do you do well in? What are your interests?

You don't need to be a CS major if you want to work with computers, like your brother said there are easier degrees and certifications that are tech related and will make you good money.
