GIF Signatures.. NEED QUALITY!

I tried my best to have the best quality but this came up... I want a better quality but I cant seem to find a way. Using AE and then transferring to PS seems to reduce the quality of the GIF since its a bigger file that PS needs to transform into a GIF.

Suggestions?

 

You can convert to gif with premier pro(medium quality; I think itd be an improvement). otherwise try play with your gif settings (when you save for web).

I would look for a third party program to use to convert straight from AVI to GIF

Good way I learned was to just open the video file in photoshop and save as gif with highest possible settings. Seems obvious in hindsight. Credits to Ken for teaching me

 

Thats what I did at first but it didnt work. The result of this is in the first post.


I downloaded Premiere Pro. I tried to export as a GIF but it was even worst (quality). Im gunna try again soon but yea atm, I dont know whats better.

 

It might just be the settings you used when saving in photoshop. Are you saving for web? It offers a lot more flexibility as opposed to just going "save as..." then saving as gif.

If that doesnt work PM me, im willing to try save it for you.

 

Yes, Im saving for web and I got the best settings (with research). However, Im busy with school stuff atm and did not try again...

I don't know anything about animating gifs but saving to web sounds like it'd automatically compress the file, hence the quality issues.
