User makes a fake twitter with the same name as the streamer and asks for Jagex on twitter to change the email associated with the account. LOLD gg.

Sucks to be this fella, he doesn't seem terribly distraught in the Twitch feed though.

 

I hope he gets refunded if he loses anything. I hear there was a database leak, and that's how the hacker got through the 2factor.

over 1B lost sucks to be him, he seems like a really nice guy and people who said he RWTED his cash, I really doubt it all of his cash came from PvMing.

Lol they also told him they're not replacing anything lost. The really sad part is it also had an Auth code on the account but because the email was changed by jagex that literally meant nothing.

That's why you get a bank pin I guess.

 

Could all be an elaborate hoax so it looked like he got hacked, but in fact RWT'ed all of the gold so he could keep his viewers. I don't know just a theory, and the guy is an asshole to be honest. I used to watch his streams and all he did was cry, talk shit, and start a lot of drama. Still sucks he might have lost 1b+ though.

 

Reminds me of when B0aty told all his viewer of his 1 man army series that he was hacked for his first ~10m, when really he just bought all his battlestaves.

 

I find it hard to believe Jagex would be dumb enough to do this. Maybe it's all a publicity stunt for more viewers? Idk, it's just a thought that came to mind.

If it is indeed legit, I feel bad for him and I know I would definitely rage cause that is money can be made into real life cash.
