Site Problems Thread

Lots of links are starting to appear as just the scam reports instead of the skypes they're meant to be linked to which kind of defeats the purpose of the list since it's supposed to appear as their skype names. :L

Are some examples. Happens to random links at random times.

Not sure if it's related to all the links being on the same page or just in the same post. If it's just the same post I could remedy this by splitting it up into multiple posts based off alphabetization but i'm not sure as to the cause of the glitch currently.

What are the Skype usernames it's happening to? Do they contain a period in them?

 

The text box on the forums still doesn't work properly. I have to actually put the BBCode in to make a line break. The actual buttons on the forum editing options (Bold, Italics, Underline) are just "there", you can't click on them.

 

After scrolling through some, the first 3 glitched skypes I found contained periods but another one (liveinseller) did not.

Also there is no select skype names this is happening to, it happens to random skypes at random times. 20 skypes could be glitched, and I could refresh the page and then another 20 different skypes could be glitched.

Also this issue didn't start to happen until the list got considerably large which is why i'm assuming it's either related to all those links being on one page, or more likely all within one post.

 

Ah I see, I thought it might be the periods as something was implemented to stop links being disguised as other links if that makes sense.

I would suggest it's just the sheer size, then.

Would it not be possible to type the Skype normally with the link next to it?

 

Believe that was tried on the first attempt of the list and it was a messy nightmare :S.

If it's not necessarily something that can be fixed I was just hoping to find out whether the size issue was with the thread itself or just the main post. If it's solely the post then I can just split the list up into multiple posts.

When I view page 5 of my vouch thread, it shows an option to click to page 6 but when that is clicked it just reloads the current page.

 

This as well, problem is becoming more frequent. Can't get to the last pages of threads even after trying multiple methods (clicking next, last, entering the page number, entering the page number into the url, going through my latest posts on my profile, actually posting, etc).

Try accessing the last 3-4 pages, should redirect you to another page at some point.

Was doing it here earlier. The site is loading really slowly for me at the moment so I can't comment(edit: internet problem on my end), but I'll let you know if it persists. (edit: seems to be working now but before it was sporadic so idk)

Just happened with this thread right now. The only way I could get to the last page was by clicking bogla's profile and clicking the link to his post.

Just letting you know it hasn't happened to me today, may be fixed.

 

Donor seals seem to be disabled atm, any idea why/when they are coming back?

 

They were removed by Matthew and probably won't be returning
