it's a nice raise from all the downtrend that's been happening, who knows where it will stop

 

My guess is it's back up a bit due to the recent news that coinbase is now the first licensed exchange in the US

I agree with you, just pointing out that they're relatively ok in 14 states + potentially 8 more (bottom of article) though.

I wanna bump this thread. I'm really confused about how much bitcoin fluctuates. To the above point, I actually do think media plays a role in demand. Since there is no government to legitimize it, the people do. The way that people legitimize things is through media.

It does, just as it does for almost any other thing that you can possibly invest in. There are even theories that suggest new news and its fallout are the primary cause for price changes. If you have more specific questions, you can definitely ask them!
