Whats your favorite anime?

I just got into watching anime not too long ago and I'm currently watching Elfen Lied. I really like anime so far and would like to know your favorite anime and what you would suggest? My favorite anime is probably Deadman Wonderland, not so sure why but I just loved it.

 

If you like Deadman Wonderland and Elfen Lied, you could try Gantz. It's not particularly good in my opinion, but it has themes of both those animes which you liked.

If you liked Deadman Wonderland, you can also try maybe Hellsing OVA (which has the same theme of gore). No Game No Life also has a similar theme of being a "game", but it's not bloody. Definitely a very enjoyable anime though.

I can't think of any anime related to the ones you like off the top of my head, but those are some suggestions for you to try out.

Obviously you've been very well redirected. However, it seems that this isn't closed, and with "already existing threads" I find it hard to remember if I posted on them, so I usually avoid them all together...

My personal favorite is Berserk. The anime itself only covers a small "flash-back" chapter of the manga. I consider it to be so good that it is the ONLY manga I've actually read after watching the anime... They've also made movies, 3 currently. Reviews I've read call the 3rd movie the goriest anime movie ever seen.

The 3 movies cover the entire anime, I personally prefer the movies. They have parts that were left out of the anime, they were left out because the anime was never meant to be continued and it wouldn't make since without eventually discovering what those things meant in the future. However, they are present in the movies and from what I understand they plan to continue making movies to cover the entire manga. However, the manga is still going! So that's always fun to see!

2nd favorite would have to be Dragonball series (yes, even GT, though it's my least favorite of the 3 dragonballs)
Followed by Inuyasha

Studio Ghibli is definitely #1 IMO.

 

Not a fan of anime anymore, I grew out of it but i've watched so many bleach amv's it gets me so hyped

 

I don't personally have a 'Number 1' per say but I have a few I really like watching:

DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, a new one I can't remember the name of but involves a parasite haha , attack on Titan..

It would be too hard to choose my sole favourite XD

 

The one with the parasite is called "Kiseijuu: Sei No Kakuritsu"

 

I never watched any animes but if DBZ is considered one then DBZ

Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, One piece and Death Note are my personal favorite ones/.

 

One Piece is the only one I watch

 

Cowboy Bebop, Flcl, Paranoia Agent, Samurai Champloo, and Id settle for some oldschool inuyasha. I wouldn't call myself an anime addict but I do enjoy them from time to time.

Doesn't anyone wonder how he/she ended up with Elfin Lied as the 1st anime? That's like wayyy too deep for someone to just start watching, I'd expect Naruto/One Piece as starters...even Attack on tits-an...damn. lol
