Banned Dates

It's nice to see when people have joined the community; however, when they get banned it would be also nice to know what date they were banned. It would help with pattern recognition for admins, and it would help legitimate users know what's going on with the moderation of the forums...

 

Why does it make a difference and who cares honestly? Bottom line is they were banned for doing something they weren't suppose to and that makes them no longer an asset to the forum.

 

It's not something to be proud of... no support

 

I think admins already know what date people got banned tbh.

 

Just check last post / last activity

^^^ I don't think admins are gonna get anything from this in the form of "pattern recognition"... no support.

 

When reporting vaders, this sometimes works, however, if a person logs into a banned account after he/she is banned, this is no longer accurate.

Why not simply change it to the last activity as a user that is not banned?

 

Staff can see when a user was banned - that's good enough

 

Then check last post. Its not that difficult. If a user is banned, it's 99% likely that it's attributed with something they did on site, and checking their last post date will give you the approximate (usually within a couple days) date of when they were banned.

Unnecessary addition, poses no benefit to staff as we can look up ban dates, and users can figure out ban date based on previous posts.
