Is there any legit reasons for a account seller not to use playerauctions ?

just wondering is there any real reason a seller shouldnt user player auctions and should get rsgp instead . do the recovery test they do damage the account ? anything or any knowledge you have about this please let me know .

 

Doubt it. I've never personally dealt with accounts on playerauctions, but seeing that the prices on PA are much higher than prices on sythe for account sales, I'd list my account on there too.

As for recovery test, I've never heard of that and I doubt it even exists.

Recovery tests are real; Dream bot dont post if you have no idea what you're talking about. and no they don't affect the account.

Also, receiving rsgp is much safer than receiving Paypal/other payment methods than can be recovered. Also RSGP is easily sold quick.

 

They charge like 15% fees for account selling I think so its unattractive for the seller to use it.

 

I don't know what I'm talking about? Even if the payments through paypal were recovered, it wouldn't affect the seller because the money passes through PA before it gets sent to the seller. If the money was charged back, it would only affect PA paypal account.

Seller pays 10% + paypal fees
listing is based on reputation, more rep higher you get placed. (terrible system, can be fixed if you combine it with forum advertising and link to your offer)
playerauctions takes at least 2 hours to process an account order
the seller has to wait up to 2 business days before he sees any money
the money gets put on hold if for a legit or unlegitimate reason gets disputed for either stolen or locked even if that's not the truth

Playerauctions is a buyers thing it sure doesn't make it easier for the seller.

 

the only thing they test is to see if the account name matches the given account name.... they don't bother with actually checking ingame or anything like that.

Fees are plain stupid, If your a trusted user why would you pay a huge fee when u can sell on sythe.

 

A lot of legitimate account sellers won't use it (I personally don't.) I'd end up losing around 20% of my profit if I were to sell my accounts on PA, hence why I choose Sythe.

 

I wouldn't use it to sell my accounts because of fees and waiting time. Absolutely ridiculous if you have a chance to sell it on a site like this.

I can only see people that don't trust these MMO trading sites using PA for account sales.

Yes, there is a waiting period depending on what seller classification you are. If we kept this information secret, I might agree with you. But, we try to keep things as transparent as possible which is why we list the disbursement schedule so that people's expectations can be set appropriately.

That is correct, sellers are protected against payment fraud. PA takes care of it.

Assuming you don't want to deal with the hassle of messy trades, or don't want to risk payment fraud, and that you want to build up your online trading rep, there really is no significant reason not to use PA. I have to disagree with everyone here, in that the fees that are charged are actually a great value for the service and protection that is returned to the user. This isn't based on personal bias, but rather a more detailed understand of our margins and just how much value we pass on to the buyers/sellers.

Compared to a publisher hosted trading solution, PA charges 10%, compared to Blizzard/PayPal's 30% for Diablo3. Some middlemen charge between 5% - 20%, and that comes with zero protection against payment fraud.

 

You should only buy an account from someone that has a reputation and who stands to lose much more by being banned than the potential profits they could gain by scamming. When buying from someone with such a reputation, it really doesn't matter whether or not you use PA, as you know that they're not going to recover it.

Furthermore, reputable sellers would rather not lose profits by paying the fees that PA has. These sellers will always be able to sell accounts on Sythe, so there's no incentive for them to use PA.

 

Change your fucking listing for accounts.
There are guys spamming 20 pages, do you find that normal?
The guy with the biggest rep gets 95% of all transactions. Make it like account shops, 1 account type with quantity options.
