May I ask how they tried to frame you? I see Eva kicking you off when you reported the PM you were getting. Then the proof they showed you was a simple 1 line PM from someone they don't know.

Please don't take the words "scammer" and "extortionist" seriously about you. I was trying to make a point to see what actual proof Bogla had aside from that 1 PM that warranted getting you kicked off the account, losing any gold you left on it, and then mistreating you like that.

 

The Pm's made to Bogla Arena were sent by Curtis & Isaiah. The account PMing Boglas Arena is owned by Curtis and Isaiah. (Askillor and Logik Gaming)
I understand that the main reason for kicking me off of the account was because they did not want to take any risks. However, I believe that the seizure of my gold and the way they dealt with the situation was wrong.

 

I just read your first post Tazmanian. I actually missed the long post and only saw the last 2 posts.

So Eva took the word of a repeat customer how? That the repeat customer was scammed by you? Or that he was the previous renter and didn't scam? Either way they almost benefited from kicking you off by taking the word of someone, and only didn't when you posted the report.

Was this after he was banned and the report was posted? Because it looked like he had the chance when he was in the chat, but did not such thing until action was taken on him on Sythe.

I'm wondering what they were getting from that. They ended up breaking the ToS for streaming, so Im not sure what the point of accusing another renter to be a scammer was getting them.

I created this thread because I'm one of the few that went through the chat logs and saw how they mistreated you and how they jumped to conclusions based on petty evidence. Ending up in essentially robbing you for what you left on the account, putting you in a very difficult spot and giving you a pretty bad experience where you walked out as one of the losers when you did nothing wrong. You'd most likely not get anything back had you not reported them is what I think. If you truly had 10.8M on the account, which you can't prove, then that's pretty low of them. As I'd have no doubt they'd log in after kicking you and pocket it before renting it to the next customer.

I really hope this does not deter you from using Sythe and continue trading. Account renting can be pretty tricky, and that is one of the small aspects of Sythe you shouldn't base your experience on.

 

Hi, I actually pmed kieran to pay him back prior to being banned (January 14th, 2:16am).

Also, the money involved in this situation is not going to be kept by me. As stated in the dispute, it will be donated to charity, as I have not earned it. Waiting till the book is fully closed on this situation in case a mod requests for it to be paid back.

When you make a mistake, you pay for it, there's a difference between being compensated for what was taken, and being compensated for what was taken, and the action itself, hence why we paid kieran a little extra for accidentally victimizing him. This isn't case specific, we offer discounts any time we're late on delivering, or extra staking time in some situations.

So the repeat customer confronted Eva claiming that I was commission staking on the account.
According to Eva, Curtis and Isaish had been renting account from them all day until I came along and rented the account before they renewed the amount of time wanted. They wanted me to be kicked off of the account so that they could get to streaming ASAP.(Maybe they had to go soon?) remember this is Eva's word.

I don't believe what Eva said. Being completely honest I believe that Eva was working with them in an attempt to scam me, but I guess I'll never know.


The PM sent to me by Bogla was after I posted my report but JUST before their team was banned. I believe the ban request was sent before he PMed me though.


As I just previously stated I believe that Eva may have been working with them in attempt to scam me as they were friends, but I have no proof.

There's not anything I can really do about this anymore. The Bogla team was very trusted and I thought I was friend with Eva for a while, so after this situation occuring I'm not sure if I can legitimately trust anyone else on here.

 

Can I ask what changed your mind after the livechat experience? I mean I saw Eva telling him to report you, then when he does (with proof) I'm assuming that's when and how you PMed him.

When you kicked him off does your staff not remember or take the gold out of the bank? I mean I highly doubt you kicked him, then it got banned before you could log in and check. I'm assuming after a trade, you transfer any wealth before renting it out again. Obviously there's no way for him to prove it either.

I understand, but he still came out the loser if he actually did have 10.2M on the account. It's something he cannot prove. Normally I wouldn't take the word of someone I don't know, but he told the truth in the beginning after all.

 

As Eva stated they log into the account to make sure the whip and dds are on the account, they don't go into the accounts bank to check. So there's no way I prove that the gold is in the accounts bank :/

You've had a previous not so positive experience with Eva as well. Now I don't know Eva or whoever kicked you off the account this time. Here's a question for Bogla. Is it possible one of your staff pocketed the 10M that was in the bank after they kicked tazmanian off? Or do you know what happened to it? Or do you think tazmanian is making it up trying to receive more compensation? Does your staff not look into the bank after they knowing kick a player off?

 

That experience was a misunderstanding. During THAT situation Eva claimed to have accidently changed the password on the wrong account and I do believe her that it was a mistake.

 

Account rental is just a shit show and they should get rid of it. It's causing more problems than it's worth.

 

Where are you finding this reimbursement information from? His rental fee was 1.5m deposit what.. a mil? so hes received 2.5m in compensation, but lost 10m that no doubt Bogla took.

Fail to see why you're still backing Bogla up. Sketchy as fuck scenario. The sort of shit people get TWC'd for.

 

Because I'm being objective. He was reimbursed his deposit and rental fee, that's what I was talking about. The account is banned, so there is no way to prove what he left on the account, taz knows this as well. Why would a business with 1400+ vouches, an owner who has invested $500+ on sythe, aim to scam 10m? It's not logical. There is also a crackdown on shared and traded runescape accounts. The customer is content with the decision, so why the fuss?

 

The Bogla team also offered to refund before they were banned just to get rid of the hassle.

I have personally seen people use their accounts to scam people while livestreaming on twitch (which is why they changed their ToS in the first place to include no livestreaming)

He wasn't talking about you specifically. Like you said, there are people who rented the account prior to you.

 

As Apith stated in his original post he wants to see a staffs opinion on this.
Now that I've had a clear head and have looked back at the events I would like to have a staffs opinion on this as well. Someone other than Blade. I messaged blade over skype about this issue multiple times and he ignored it.

Besides, you'd be surprised what humans would do if they knew they could get away with it. It's like in the gaming scene, people who turned gaming into their jobs have been caught throwing for money. Obviously they didn't believe they would get caught because the backlash and punishments when caught heavily outweighs whatever reward they get.

 

Risk vs Reward

It's not logical to risk their business in the off chance that they can get away with it, especially for a small amount. The idea is more believable if it was a single player shop. I don't doubt it happening, just not in this instance. We're beating a dead horse at this point.
