    Question about Work Out

Would 200-300 push ups a day be a good work out? Do 10 sets of 30 through out the day.

List pros/cons I guess. Just right now I don't have the finances to buy weights/membership and I find myself using a pull up bar, doing a couple hundred push ups a day, and doing several hundred squats a day. I've only just started this week so I have seen some small improvements in my strength and ability to do more reps per set.

    Question about Work Out

That's pretty impressive dude, nice going!! My advice is to change the exercises you do to avoid, what people call 'plateauing'. For example, do decline/incline pushups instead of your normal pushups. Don't be afraid to change it up every 5-7 days

    Question about Work Out

Yeah my friend was sayin' the same thing. I'm doing this all for now until school starts in a few weeks. The gym there is free so I'll actually be able to have a full 5 day week schedule of work outs for different muscle groups.

Yeah I'm still working on my diet. I'm a picky eater but I'm super skinny so I'm at ~3000 calories per day. Gonna try to get a few more hundred calories in once I find more food that I'll actually enjoy eating. Might just start using whey protein to add some calories too if my digestion system is okay with it.

Edit: Thank you both. Now I feel better about doing it for the time being :D

    Question about Work Out

Here's an idea, find some heavy items you can place on your back while doing pushups. I used to fill a backpack with heavy items, put on the backpack, and do pushups. :)

Oh yeah! I used to put a 45 lb weight on my back but I can't quite do that any more haha But I will consider that once I get better at push ups. Thanks for reminding me :]

    Question about Work Out

Incorporate some movements into your own variant of High Intensity Interval Training [HIIT] to change up the ways your working out; sticking with the fundamentals - push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, squats are all good, u should adjust grip and positions to emphasize on other parts of your body.

But definitely take advantage of the gym when ur back in school

PS. I'm done University/College and I can still utilize it's gym for free LOL!
