Snake boss

What do u guys think about the new boss? Imo its pretty fun to kill but a kill costs too much (100k+, every bolt disappears after u shot it)

and its nowhere near 1.8m per h lol

I'm watching sparc mac's stream rn....it looks so OP. It would wreck so hard on a pure

 

Looks fun but with 70 ranged I won't be tackling this boss for awhile. Really glad the OSRS developer team didn't just give us a same old boring boss and spiced it up a little bit. I saw someone on reddit get double loots. Think he got visage+blowpipe.

 

Decent update. Like you said though, it burns resources.

EDIT: I just watched a review on the blowpipe and Jesus fuck it's overpowered. Smh, if they don't nerf it tremendously then we're going to be heading back to the dragon claw and hand cannon era.

 

Is this a new update independent of the history in current EoCscape?

I've never heard of a snake boss before now.

 

It's "new content" for the 2007 based servers.

 

This makes me want to play 07 even more knowing that they are putting new content on there that isn't on EoC.

It's like they opened up a second timeline from 07...either 07-->EoC or 07-->Not absolute trash.

That's one of the new drops from this boss. Completely overpowered and unbalanced. Reminds me too much of dragon claws.

We'll see though. When they start forcefeeding new content is when it's going down hill. That doesn't only mean adding content without asking too. Too many update propositions also.

 

Jesus.. That blowpipe looks really overpowered for 07. Jagex reminds me of someone who thinks they've learned from past mistakes but then unknowingly repeats them like they never happened.

 

I'm very impressed with the boss when you consider what they had available to work with to still maintain an "old" feel to the game.

I really dislike the drop table. Why add a jar of swamp? Is that suppose to be an inside joke? I know a jar of dirt and sand was put in the game, but to make it a very rare drop for a BOSS is extremely stupid.

We all know, both in RS3 and oldschool that new weapons are overpowered, even when tested. Not sure if they purposely let it go, or did it for others to enjoy using it while it lasts before it's nerfed.

 

imo its not op, it wrecks pures, but makes pking way more enjoyable imo, and its useless against armour

 

Looks fun, but it's only a high level boss..no love for the low levels :'(

 

The boss is way too easy to kill... the only "hard" part is flicking prayer at that one stage

 

I think there should of been a slayer requirement to kill this monstrosity, and make it possible for pures or low defers with the high slayer lvl requirement to kill it...

 

That literally makes no sense for a solo boss release.



Anyways can't wait for the prices to even out. The helms going to be sick for dks

Fair enough, if you think the 76 agility requirement to get into it quicker is good enough, then...I have no further comment,

 

Toxic Blowpipe needs a nerf, it is terribly op on pures.
The boss itself is simple enough to kill, was difficult to learn but can learn quickly.

I have been making ~1.6m/hour at this boss. Averaged on 4 hours (around 30-40 kills).
