Since you last logged in over a year ago, you might not like the game graphics- they have changed greatly. If this is the case, change your mode to Legacy Mode, this puts your character into the "old" RS.

lol 500+ days. Inb4 quits after 1 day because rs3 = shit.

 

Not gonna lie, everything feels weird. Even the arrow key controls to rotate your view seem t be moving extremely fast.

RS3 is pretty shit, I am getting sick of it.

May try out 07 cause I find people are way more into that (the people not botting and actually playing the game). Idk though.

Yeah, I pked in Legacy a bit, got some Dharoks.

Cut some ivy, ran some double nats.

Then I realized no one is even online to compete with, so what's the point? Lol

 

RuneScape's like that nowadays, honestly I quit for the same reasons, I felt like there was no one to compete with. I've always like the competitive side of RuneScape, and trying to compete with other players whether it be in a clan or on the highscores.

Literally ever single character running around is either completely maxed or has 120's.

Go jump on 07, you might like that better.

 

There is the low level community in RS3, though. All too often a guy with full Bandos and SGS or something like that will show up. It actually gets boring after you reach a higher level. As a lower level, there are far more people to enjoy RS with I think.

 

I can relate. When I came back after a long break, I was back only because I remembered the feeling of competition.

Came back and saw just comp/max capes standing around doing nothing with their white/blue phats talking about how much longer till 120 herblore and shit.

It turned me completely off of playing the game legit because I'd have to forsake my life to compete with people like that :/ and even then it wouldn't be empowering, it would just feel like grinding and grinding and grinding for no REAL purpose.
