Site Problems Thread

Sythe recently sent out a mass pm to all users of whom the email might be invalid/outdated.

Had this too, but it's been better recently. I couldn't figure out how to replicate it

 

I've been receiving PM's late recently - happened twice so far. They send it and it's not til ~12 hours later that I receive it.

 

Miniranks are fuggin up my post bit. It starts a new line at 2 miniranks, and if you make it so you have only one minirank showing, that minirank starts on a second line instead of a first one. It's awkward to look at.

 

^ I think its because hidden miniranks still take up a slot

 

There are hidden miniranks?

 

I mean, if you hide some of your miniranks, they still take up the space on the bar

wait, so because im $300 donor itll stretch however minirank i current have (visible) to meet three rows? (assuming I have enough that are non visible)

 

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but I keep receiving double PMs from people, instead of the one (exact same time sent, but twice)

 

If you have 3 rows worth of miniranks and you hide 1 row worth it'll still take up 3 rows worth. (I THINK). Not sure how hiding works but that seemed to be what was happening with me; then when I removed most of the miniranks off my account it stopped (stretching).

Just received a PM that was sent to me 13 hours ago

This PM problem is still persisting

 

It seems to be on/off, for example the PM I was referring to and 3 others all came in at once for me despite them being multiple hours apart

They all came through at 4 PM for me but the times vary greatly

It's almost as if the last one got them to all come through. I was just send a PM now though and it came through instantly, strange

what could happen in that case :

User : Writing the PM
User : Click to send the PM
Website : Loading to send the PM
User : Get out of his house so he does not have wifi anymore
Website : Loading stops

12 hours later...

User : he got wifi again, the loading continues
You: Receive the PM with the time it first loaded.

Idk if it really could happen that way... But thats the best thing I could think of that isnt related to a site problem.
