If you want it to upload properly now, you have to go to File > Save for web and then in the dropdown box choose "PNG-24"

That doesnt explain how to fix when you upload the image the background is darker.

Rodog, you can add buttons to your signature fairly easily. PM me for more info if you cant figure it out.

 

You shouldn't have to go to save for web & devices. You can just regularly go to Save As and export it as a png with either transparency or the Hex Codes.

 

Pretty good tip, I just leave the background transparent lol.

 

This is basic information, but it might help new graphic designers.

You can't add textures or animation then.

I'd say a better tip is to learn to have transparent backgrounds and save it as a PNG. This way it can be used on any website with out having to edit the color.

 

Then you can't have certain animations.
