120 Capes

Has anyone here attempted to get 120 capes on RS3? I've got 20-50m exp in 5 or so skills, and was wondering if anyone who has grinded RS3 knows what is quick and painless if someone were to want to get another 120 cape.

 

I have the 120 fire making cape by just using bonfires when I'm watching movies or working from home.

It was pretty painless because I just learned to fit it in with my regular life.

Fire making is by far the easiest 120 unless you have multiple trillions of gp then construction is the fastest.

 

Ye i have 120 magic, def, and herblore. Then again these are one of the fastest 120s. Herblore included if u have the cash for it. You just have to make a plan like for example x amount of xp each day or more if u have time. Then you just cooperate it with ur daily life, as other poster said. Watch movies if have be but all in all theyre pretty easy if ur determined for the cape. 3 i have are my favorites so dont think ill be going for any others, other than gaining from basic activities like pking or pvming.

 

I know a girl who has 15/26 of the 120 capes. Her and her bf actively work on getting 120s together. I know she spent over 1.6b on one of them.

 

that takes so much time, whoever does this must have lots of free time, if i did i may try. other than that it's great achievement if you can do it. best of luck

 

I think you'll find that a large portion of players with 120 capes/200m stats simply get creative with how and when they train.

For example, 90% of my skilling is done whilst I'm at work - this is possible because I work at home. I'm a transcriber so I wear headphones and type up audio speech recordings making it very easy to click a couple of times every few minutes on the laptop next to my main pc that I run runescape on.

So you don't necessarily need a lot of free time to get lots of xp you just need to be in a situation where you can train and go about your irl business at the same time.

 

I have cooking dung and firemaking

 

Firemaking is definitely the easiest one imo. If you have access to Prifddinas, theres the never-ending bonfire right next to bank, so it would be even easier.

Is that a better place to train firemaking to 120 than World 16 GE then?

 

The bonfire in Prif has a few small advantages. Its much larger than a regular fire, so theres a larger click radius. It's set in place, so you dont have to worry about that, and no one can stand on it

Small factors, but over such a long period of time, it adds up. If youve got the reqs to get into Prif, I'd recommend it. If you're a long way off the skills/quests needed, w16 ge would work just fine.

 

It's the best place possible to FM, but has extremely high reqs to get into. If you have the reqs go for it, but I personally wouldn't waste my time spending weeks getting the reqs. But I'm sure you have the reqs since I'm assuming you're maxed since you're already looking into 120s.

 

Dungeoneering & firemaking here. I was planning to go for 200m firemaking long before 120 capes were released so it's just a nice bonus to me.

I'd rather do other things than grind xp all day so two capes is more than enough for me

 

I sold my acc long ago, but I would have been eligible for 120 dg, cooking and hunter.

The easiest 120 skills are probably; cooking, fm, thieving, mining, rc

 

I don't think I'll ever try to get a 120 cape - 100x sillier than a 99.. and even those take the piss

 

Are those last 3 really easy?? Never knew havent played in a while, id love to get mining lmao.

Dg is probably easiest, plus it's fun. With good teams you can average 1m/hr without much trouble.

 

Afked hellhounds for defense/hp/str/attk/range/mage cape .

Was cake literally you can afk 10 minutes at a time.

 

unlimited amounts of cash... 120 Herblore,Fletching,Construction are a couple of the fastest.
No Cash...Thieving and Dungeoneering are the way to go.
Combat... Attack,HP,Defense, Strength = AFK Bandos while watching movies.
I was getting ~450kxp/hour awhile ago and never needed to pay much attention.
