    What did you get for Christmas?
    My entire family (extended) seemed to just decide on all giving cash this year lol. I didn't get anything besides money but I got like $700, not a bad haul at all. I usually get half of that if even, but literally everyone opted for cash gifts. When you have a huge family, it adds up.

    Probably just going to put it into savings. I finally built a new computer so I don't need any upgrades anywhere.

    A new stereo for the car, and a deep fryer, and a jar of pickles!

    Really one of the best things that came up on Christmas is a department that has been a potential job prospect has opened up 6 casual firefighting positions and they plan on having everyone hired within a month. Absolutely hope I can get in on such a fantastic opportunity!

    Nothing much, my family doesn't really celebrate Christmas >.>

    A bottle of scotch and some clothes. My mother's father has dementia and he knows I play video games so he bought me an alienware m18, which retails for something like $4000USD.

    It was very awkward because he said he'd forgotten what he'd bought me before he wrapped it and to make matters worse he didn't get my sisters anything, lol.

    Stuck with a $4k laptop that has shitty resale value and specs lower than my pc. No idea what to do with it.

    What did you get for Christmas?
    Toshiba chromebook 2 to take to take to class + a case for it, an hdmi switcher, external usb hub, a logitech c920 webcam, a watch, forza horizon 2, and a 10,000 MAh external battery pack for my phone. A hand crafted knife with a wood handle and jade stone, a marshal mathers lp 2 tshirt, socks, underwear (lol), a sword art online wristband and a bag of candy.

    I probably left a thing or two out, bad memory. Also received a few generous checks from extended family and stuff since they usually don't know what to get me.
