Change the waiting time for a search

I find it really annoying. I dont understand why theres even a waiting time to search for your posts or threads or something else?

I always do mistakes when Im trying to search for something. It can be typos or just clicking on "search threads" beside of "search posts" by mistake. We need to wait and click a thousand times in order to search what you want.

Also, when you want to search multiple things in a row.. It can take a very long time!

We should change it to 10 seconds if the waiting time is necessary.

 

This just makes sense I don't know about the issues with programming but I support this

 

I know it has something to do with vBulletin and it's to prevent overloads of searches that will end up hurting the system, but I agree, 30 seconds is too much.

If vBulletin requires 30 secs then so be it, but if it's possible to decrease the search time then I support this.

 

Yeah hate it. I mostly use sythe through my phone so i missclick alot and have to wait that god awful 30 seconds

 

It is definitively something that should be fixed! I understand that we have this delay to prevent any database errors, although 30 seconds per search is just way to long!

 

Support. I think it should be removed, but you know someone's going to use it to cause harm, or it just might cause harm its self, but if there had to be a limit, could it be maybe ten seconds instead of the dreadful thirty?
